Doha is a compact Gulf capital where cultural institutions, transit, waterfront development and neighbourhood renewal coexist. Its architecture is influenced by intense solar exposure, hot winds, humidity and strong reflected light, as well as by waterfront districts, cultural precincts, transit-oriented growth and low-rise residential neighbourhoods.
